Client is a well-established and growing building envelope, exterior façade company specializing in custom unitized curtain wall

Summary

Works collaboratively with Project Management, Engineering as well as with Sales to provide a detailed estimate of all labor and materials required to complete the Scope of Work. Analyzes potential project details and incorporates lessons learned from previous projects to generate competitive bids. Submits all bid documents in accordance with client requirements. Minimal travel required

Qualifications 

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years estimating experience in the commercial construction industry. Preference will be given to those with glass and glazing experience and an Associate’s Degree in a relevant discipline. Candidates must have experience reading and analyzing construction and project management documents (e.g., building plans and specifications, contracts, safety codes and budget sheets) as well as being able to recognize basic engineering and architectural principles in structures. They must be detail oriented with strong analytical and math skills

Qualified candidates possess excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The best candidate must be a knowledgeable team player with experience using Microsoft Office applications
