Summary

Our client is an architectural metal specialty contractor for the building envelop with a focus on the fabrication and installation
of building facades, decorative exteriors, custom railing, and more.  They have a territory focus on Southern California and the
Pacific Southwest. They are a solid, stable company with a rich history of over 65 years in business

Qualifications

-- Revise drawings as required
-- Implement fabrication drawings from approved shop drawings and parameters
-- Develop shop drawing plans, elevations, wall sections and details for architectural aluminum products
-- Meet fabrication & submission schedules
-- Work closely with Engineering, Estimating, and project Management in developing drawings and scheduling of work

Responsibilities

-- Minimum two (2) year Technical Drafting degree or related technical field of study required
-- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, BOM and Metal Order programs
-- Excellent math skills and trigonometry required
-- Must be capable of creating, reading, and interpreting architectural plans and structural drawings
-- Good communication skills and the ability to work with all levels within the organization
-- Must be able to meet scheduling deadlines and work well under pressure
-- Must be self-motivated, flexible, and have good documentation skills
-- Experience in curtain wall or skylight industry is preferred
