Senior Project Manager

Summary
Manage large, technical, complex (higher risk) projects safely, on time, and within budget to ensure financial goals are met. Proactively communicates with a focus on removing roadblocks and offering solutions, while cultivating and maintaining positive trusting working relationships both internally and externally with clients, vendors, and trade partners
This position requires working at the jobsite, conducting regular jobsite visits, and attending all required project related meetings. This position requires directing the work effort on the project as well as providing mentorship/training support to other PM's and/or PE's
Responsibilities
-- Support team in all manners, delegating as required to ensure timelines are met
-- Seek new Sales /Estimate opportunities for future projects that complies within the ISG divisions offered services to the
commercial/industrial HVAC industry
-- Assist Sales and Estimating team in seeking and securing opportunities for future projects
-- Assist Estimators in review of estimated prior to bid to ensure adequate scope and estimates of labor, equipment, and materials are
included
-- Track project: Responsible to understand the specifications of our scope of work and of subcontractors and equipment suppliers after
award of project
-- Clearly define roles of project personnel
-- Communicate the budget and track all modifications of scope, via RFI’s and/or change orders
-- Ensure team understands the notification time frames and requirements
-- Responsible to determine and schedule preplanning meetings, project kick offs, mid-term, and job close outs
-- Accountable to prepare and submit timely WIP reports monthly and accurately forecast cost to complete
-- Accountable to create schedule of values, equipment release schedules, budgets and assign cost codes based upon the overall execution
plan working closely with project team
-- Can turn around any sized project that is in trouble
-- Documentation: Responsible for review and verification of all subcontracts and major equipment purchase orders, and invoice sign off
Requirements
-- Four+ years related project management experience in HVAC or construction industry - Mechanical
-- Bachelor's degree or university in related field such as Construction, Management, or equivalent applicable degree is preferred
-- 15 years in commercial/industrial HVAC industry. GED/Diploma and Journeyman certificate required - ISG8
-- 8-15 years related experience in architectural sheet metal and building envelope construction - Architectural
