Client is a premier fabricator of custom architectural products and has been in business over 36 years
Principal Responsibilities
Drafts construction drawings related details using AutoCAD 2010 or higher in accordance with specifications used in the planning and construction of Architectural/Engineering projects such as skylights, ACM wall panels and architectural aluminum metal panel building
Requirements
-- Generation of approval drawings utilizing our existing systems or work with our engineers to detail a custom system to perform to the
Architects requirements as detailed in the architectural/structural drawing supplied, specifications, and other engineering data from the
Architect/Engineer
-- Revisions to the Approval drawings and generating material take-offs
-- Generation of the fabrication release details, glass sizing and hardware lists
-- Generate Material Take Off
-- Analytical – Review and understand structural calculations. Understanding of geometry and trigonometry
-- Design – Understand how company’s standard skylight and panel systems assemble and perform
-- Technical Skills - Able to read blue prints, Fluent in AutoCAD 2000 and higher, 3D modeling
-- Interpersonal Skills – Team Player. Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Maintains confidentiality; Listens to others without interrupting; --- Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things
-- Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to
