Hendersonville, NC - Our new destination.  We became 'empty-nesters' just over a year ago and have been looking for a place to 'down-size' for a while now.  We believe we have found just the place.   I honestly cannot remember how we learned of Hendersonville but believe we stumbled across it on a trip to Asheville.  We have now had at least four long weekends and one full week there and believe we have found our next home.

Manhattan Beach, CA - The first part of my career I was fortunate to have spent a lot of time in nearly every major city in the US.  My first business trip ever was to Los Angeles as we had an office near the airport and if you are familiar with the area, you know you are just a stone's throw to Manhattan Beach. 

My next 25 business trips were to Los Angeles so I spent a lot of time here.  I love this place and if you are in the area, try my favorite restaurant in the whole world, The Kettle at 1138 Highland Avenue.

My Happy Place.  I really want to do all I can to reach the optimum point of promoting the Ellijay Coffeehouse so they thrive, yet not to the point where I have to wait for a table! 

To say I love this place is an understatement. I cannot imagine a better coffee house in America. If you are in Ellijay make sure you stop by and have a cup or three.  Please tell Rick and Joann we said hello.

It has been a long time coming but we finally have our sound studio up and running. We plan to offer recording services for podcasts, audio production and corporate events. 

I guess this could be considered a 'place' as opposed to a thing but either way we are thrilled to be able to offer these services.
