Company is one of the leading fabricators and installers of exterior metal wall panels. Their expertise spans a variety of aluminum composite materials and other cladding systems

Principal Responsibilities

An Architectural Division Senior Estimator sets the stage for pursuit and conquer of landmark construction projects throughout the western United States. The position, in collaboration with the sales and project management staff, determines project approach to the bid as well as the overall initial project execution plan

Summary

-- Collaborate with Engineering, Sales and Project Managers to initiate a pursuit
-- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
-- Ability to operate as a stand-alone estimator when required
-- Prepare/write technical proposals and pricing schedules
-- Prepare accurate, thorough, and timely take-offs, RFP’s, and estimates
-- Attend pre-bid meetings and make site visits
-- Solicit vendor quotes for each scope/material product
-- Foster relationships with key-vendors and subcontractors
-- Maintain product knowledge of current and prospective vendors / manufacturers / products


Requirements

-- Possess extensive knowledge of curtain wall, storefronts, glass & glazing, and cladding products. With an emphasis on the details and
     materials coordination/sequencing
-- Have strong analytical skills
-- Strong attention to details
-- 5 to 7 years’ minimum experience in construction estimating or project management
-- Construction Management degree is a plus
-- Experience working-in Partner-Pak, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD and Word
-- Be willing to continue to learn and grow in the industry.
-- Be diligent and adaptive when solving project, vendor, and scope problems with-in the team environment
