Summary

Drafts detailed construction drawings, plans, elevations, sections and related details using AUTOCAD 2010 or higher in accordance with specific specifications used in the planning and construction of Architectural/Engineering projects such as skylights, ACM wall panels, column covers, brake metal shapes and architectural aluminum metal panel building products by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

-- Analytical – Review and understand structural calculations. Understanding of geometry and trigonometry

-- Design – Understand how company’s standard skylight and panel systems assemble and perform

-- Technical Skills - Able to read blue prints, Fluent in AUTOCAD 2000 and higher, 3D modeling
-- Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations;
-- Written Communication - Able to organize relevant paperwork and be able to document work performed
-- Completes projects on time and on budget.
-- Quality Management - Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
-- Business Acumen - Understands business implications of decisions; Displays orientation to profitability;
-- Cost Consciousness - Works within approved budget

Requirements

-- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
