SUMMARY

Our client is currently seeking a full-time, dedicated and highly motivated Glass Estimator to join their team. This position is
responsible for preparing, planning and managing multiple jobs in the metro Atlanta area at any given time.
They are looking for a self-starter who pays close attention to detail and is willing to do what it takes to be part of the team
and help them grow the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-- Review Project invitations to bid and develop project estimates and quotations for unitized and stick curtain wall, window,
     door, and metal enclosure systems
-- Interpret and Analyze project documents including drawings and specifications
-- Review and complete Contractor provided scopes of work and bid leveling sheets
-- Complete project quantity take-offs
-- Review and analyze factory provided documents including system descriptions, quantities, proposal drawings, preliminary
     shop drawings, thermal, and structural calculation documentation
-- Source any supplementary vendor or sub-subcontractor proposals
-- Build and maintain positive relationships with key vendors
-- Liaise with the vendors by working with in-house engineering to provide technical solutions to resolve proposal issues
-- Provide bid schedules for supply and site install
-- Update and maintain bid logs with Salesforce
-- Provide progress reports to the Estimating Manager
-- Participate in client bid and scope meetings
-- Liaise with construction team for newly awarded projects and assist in project manager hand-off
-- Ability to meet critical deadlines for bids
-- Collaboration with Management on quotes, estimates, and budgets to develop an appropriate bidding strategy
-- Assist in preparation of design proposal presentations for clients

QUALIFICATIONS

-- Preferred candidate ideally to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in unitized building façade systems or metal panel
     enclosure estimating
-- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam
-- Working knowledge with AutoCAD and Salesforce software
-- Excellent organization and time management skills
-- Experience in glazed curtain wall, metal panel, ornamental metal, window, and door systems
-- Must hold a valid driver’s license
